Merry Christmas

Merry Christmas everyone!!!
I hope everyone is having a beautiful day with their loved ones.
I usually would have recipes for great holiday treats or another outfit post but sadly I have the flu. I wrote in my last post that I had food poisoning and thought I was over it, but I definitely was not. I was feeling better so I thought it was just food poisoning but I wasn't eating, which is why I didn't feel bad. Now every time I eat I'm running to the bathroom every 5 minutes (gross). I can't keep anything down, and looking at all the yummy treats for Christmas has been sad because I can't really eat any of it.
My Christmas is definitely not ruined though, spending time with my family and watching hours of Christmas movies is where its at :)

I want to start off my Christmas day posts with the most exciting present...a new car!!!
My family members and I were always lucky enough to have our own cars but they were usually used ones my dad bought us. The deal was if he buys us cars any maintenance needed to be done to the car, we pay for ourselves. As much as I have been so happy to have my own car, used, older cars can be unpredictable and sometimes expensive with repairs. I've been travelling more for my job and the car I have is just getting a little old and wearing too much on the car. My dad decided it was time for me to get a new car but has sworn he will never buy a used car again. My amazing father bought me a 2013 Volkswagen Golf Wolfsburg Edition He did buy it for me but I will be obviously paying for my own insurance and I give him a lease fee once a month. A lot less than what he pays, but he is a great guy for that :)

I know only the basics about cars thanks to my dad, but it was between this car and a 2013 Nissan Sentra. We decided with this one because the Sentra was a basic model and for a little bit more the Volkswagen had sun roof, heated seats, 8 speaker stereo, blue tooth, fog lights, 17 inch aluminium wheels, dual heating, air conditioning, rear spoiler, winter tires, bluetooth, stereo controls, heated squirters, 6 speed automatic or shift mode, etc. (I literally just had my dad name that off right now) It also is the last German built for the Volkswagen Golf lines. Which according to my dad, German made means the quality is 10x better. After this line they will be built in Mexico which my dad was not happy about (quality wise).

Any who I'm absolutely in love with it and keep coming up with excuses to go driving.

I will have some more photos up today of other little gifts and treats :)

Merry Christmas

  1. What a wonderful gift. You must be so happy, well other than the bathroom adventures. So sorry about that dear. It will pass soon for you and then you will be zoom zooming all over the place in your cool ride.
