I got this Hudson's Bay scarf for Christmas and I absolutely love it. I adore anything from the Hudson's Bay Company, because its so classic and not to mention Canadian. I love big scarves that become almost an entire outfit. This is massive and is such a statement piece. This is the perfect casual weekend outfit for me. Lately, its been weirdly warm, so its not been necessary for me to wear a coat. A cozy knit, big scarf and a toque is just perfect!
I always have so much fun going through my blog at the end of the year. Each day is documented, so this is like my personal scrapbook. This year was pretty amazing! I got to travel to Las Vegas and Mexico, had a great time at Toronto Fashion Week, I filmed a segment for SPACE with my sister and I met a boy who I'm quite fond of.
This year however, wouldn't be possible if it wasn't for you guys, my viewers!! You are the reason my blog has reached another level (and continuing). It still boggles my mind when people say they look to me for fashion advice or they can't wait to see my next post. Words can't explain how it makes me feel, but pure freaking joy!!
So I would like to thank my viewers, followers, fans, friends and family for being the most supportive bunch, and for always encouraging me to keep going.
I forgot to post these photos last week, but here are a few shots from Friday having a night in with my boyfriend. We decided to do our present exchange because we knew we wouldn't have much alone time during the week of Christmas. I wanted to make a night of our Christmas exchange, so I made sure to buy some wine, make him dinner and have a movie night with his favourite movie. My boyfriend Shawn has a very "guy" condo, so I thought by bringing in a Christmas tree and some new candles, it would soften the place a bit. I thought this Toronto Smoke candle was perfect for him from Smells Like Canada. I'm now obsessed with the brand and will be purchasing some more scents. I ended up making his favourite tacos, which I was pleased with because that is something I can actually cook. The night went exactly how I envisioned it, spending all night relaxed, sipping wine.
I'm back at home today for Christmas eve and I've currently done nothing all day. That's exactly what you're suppose to do during the holidays, right!? I hope santa treats everyone well tonight!!
Here are a few shots of the cottage! I've been staying here the past few days with my boyfriend and his family and wanted to share with you the wonderful Christmas decorations throughout the cottage. It's stunning here and the weather was beautiful and sunny with a cold crisp breeze. Here are some shots from last night of the decorations and some photos of me enjoying my coffee this morning.
My boyfriend bought this hat from Club Monaco for me for Christmas and I love it. I've been needing another hat like this for awhile and he also loves this style of hat on me, so its a win win for both of us. I'm up at his cottage for the week, which is why I'm surrounded by beautiful woods in these photos. I just finished eating a cinnamon bun, and drinking coffee in a reindeer mug...I love Christmas break at the cottage!! Today we are having another relaxing day with the family and then heading into town later for some dinner. I'll be posting another post hopefully later on today with shots around the cottage. I hope everyone has a wonderful Monday!
