Canada 150 Road Trip - FORD Canada

I was so lucky to be able to head out on a Canada 150 road trip with FORD Canada. Canada is turning the big 150 this year and what better year to discover all that Canada has to offer than a road trip. FORD has called Canada home for more than a century with over 400 Ford-Lincoln dealerships from coast to coast. FORD chose bloggers from each province and gave them the opportunity to road trip around their province. I jumped at the chance to take part because I'm always traveling other places, but never discovering my own province. FORD hooked me up with a Ford Fusion Energi which is such a sexy looking car and truly one of the smoothest rides I've ever driven.

Canada is seriously SO beautiful!! My itinerary was Toronto to Sudbury, Sudbury to Sault Ste Marie, Sault Ste Marie to Wawa, Wawa to Sudbury and then home. I have posted a bunch of photos for you to see how the road trip went.

When we were in Sudbury we went to WagonWheel Ranch and rode some horses. It was the most beautiful day and these horses were absolutely gorgeous.

What's a road trip without a few food stops, right? I made a stop at Deluxe Hamburgers in Sudbury, which still has it's vintage interior and I loved it!!

While driving between Sudbury to Sault Ste Marie we stopped at Pier Seventeen restaurant and got to enjoy our lunch overlooking Blind River.

Many, many Tim Hortons stops were made!!

In Sault Ste Marie I got to check out the world's largest baseball. It was so cool!

Stopped in at Ernie's Coffee Shop in Sault Ste Marie before heading out to Wawa.

Between Sault Ste Marie and Wawa my sister and I stopped in at the cutest place, Voyageurs' Lodge & Cookhouse. I thought getting a poutine really fit with the Canadian theme of this restaurant. I was so obsessed with the Hudson's Bay stripes.

Wawa Ontario was absolutely beautiful, but my favourite part were all the Canada geese throughout the town!!

The famous giant goose in Wawa, Ontario.

I was so excited that we got our own chalet for the night at Northern Lights Motel & Chalets in Wawa, Ontario.

It felt so nice to relax on the porch drinking some wine after many hours of driving.

I had such an amazing road trip and I cannot wait to explore more of this beautiful country this year!!! Is anyone else taking a road trip or a Canada 150 trip this year!?
